Fancy a different and refreshing iced coffee? The iced coffee, coconut rum and citrus fruit will be perfect! In addition to being very easy to make, this iced coffee will surprise you with its simplicity and its little tropical taste.
All you will need to make it is a Chemex style filter coffee maker or for over or if you prefer, a Bodum style French press as well as our flavored coffee blend RUM COCONUT CITRUS
ICE COFFEE RECIPE WITH A CHEMEX COFFEE MAKER
For 4 cups of 200 ml
1.Place a dozen ice cubes at the bottom of your Chemex coffee maker.
2.Add about 8 tbsp. of the flavored coffee mixture in the filter of the coffee maker. That is; 2 teaspoons per cup of coffee 200 ml.
3.Pour 800 ml of hot water slowly and in a circular fashion over the mixture in the filter.
4.The coffee will brew immediately, so you can now pour the coffee into the coffee cups and there add 2-3 more ice cubes to each cup.
Our Rum Coconut Citrus flavored coffee blend already contains a suspicion dark rum, but if you want to turn your iced coffee into a more festive cocktail, add an ounce of dark rum per cup.
RECIPE COFFEE ICED WITH A BODUM COFFEE MAKER
for 4 cups of 200 ml
1.Add about 8 tbsp. of the flavored coffee mixture at the bottom of the coffee maker. That is; 2 teaspoons per cup of coffee 200 ml.
2.Pour 800 ml of hot water slowly and in a circular fashion over the coffee mixture that you have placed in the coffeemaker.
3.Stir slowly with a large spoon. and let stand for about 5 minutes.
4.After the 5 minutes your coffee is now brewed. Stir gently again, using the button, push the plunger of the coffee maker to create the infusion. Your coffee infusion is now ready, you can pour it into a pitcher and add ten ice cubes.
5.Using your pitcher, pour the coffee with the ice in each of the cups. The ice cubes may have melted, then you can add 1 or 2 ice cubes per cup.
Our coconut citrus rum flavored coffee blend already contains a suspicion dark rum but, if you want to turn your iced coffee into a Cocktail, add one ounce of Dark Rum per cup.
TRICK: Before pouring the infusion into the cups, keep some of your citrus coconut rum coffee infusion and pour this infusion into a small ice cube tray. When you make your next iced coffees these ice cubes can then replace the water ice cubes that you put in your coffee at the very end. Thus, you will have more the flavor of citrus rum coconut coffee.
